The 2024 PwC GAA/GPA All-Stars will be revealed over the next 48 hours.
The football team will be announced tomorrow morning, followed by the hurling selection on Friday evening during the live televised banquet from the RDS.
All-Ireland champions Armagh have 11 players on the 45-man football shortlist. In addition, star defender Barry McCambridge has been nominated for Footballer of the Year where he is joined by Galway duo Paul Conroy and John Maher. The Orchard County are also represented in the hunt for Young Player of the Year where Oisín Conaty is joined by Galway’s Johnny McGrath and Donegal’s Ciarán Moore.
Likewise, Clare dominate the hurling shortlist with 14 nominees. The Liam MacCarthy Cup winners also have star forward Shane O’Donnell in the running for Hurler of the Year along with Cork midfielder Darragh Fitzgibbon and Limerick defender Kyle Hayes. The Young Hurler of the Year nominees are Clare’s Adam Hogan, Cork’s Eoin Downey and Limerick’s Cathal O’Neill.
