Castlehaven and Dingle will contest the Munster Club SFC final following their respective semi-final wins over Rathgormack and Clonmel Commercials.

In Fraher Field, the Hurley brothers, Brian and Michael, scored 1-11 between them as Castlehaven prevailed by 1-16 to 1-7 to reach their first provincial decider in 11 years. Despite being without county players Conor Murray and Michael Curry, Billy Power’s goal helped Rathgormack to a four-point lead before the Cork champions rallied to lead by 0-8 to 1-2 at the break.

The underdogs narrowed the gap to two points after the restart, but couldn’t get any closer as Brian Hurley’s late goal settled it.

Five points from Dylan Geaney were central to Dingle’s 0-13 to 0-10 victory over Clonmel Commercials in the other semi-final at FBD Semple Stadium.

Commercials led by 0-5 to 0-4 at the break thanks to points from Seanie O’Connor (two), Jack Kennedy, Ross Peters and Colman Kennedy, but three points in a six-minute spell from Geaney turned the tide. The Kerry representatives closed out the win with late scores from Tom O’Sullivan and Paul Geaney.
