Corduff are through to the Monaghan SFC semi-finals after ending Latton's unbeaten record in Group 1.

Three late points from Fergal Hanratty (two) and Jordan McGarrell gave last year's intermediate champions a 1-8 to 1-7 win after Darren McElroy's goal had looked to have turned the tide in Latton's favour. Corduff's goal was scored by Cillian Marron in the opening minutes.

In the same group, holders Ballybay romped to a 4-19 to 0-6 victory over Truagh, but are still destined for the relegation playoffs.

Scotstown's 1-16 to 0-13 win over Clontibret in Group 2 earns them a quarter-final date with Aughnamullen. Orin Heaphey's late major copperfastened Scotstown's third win against a Clontibret side who introduced Conor McManus and Monaghan manager Vinnie Corey from the bench.

In the other Group 2 tie, Magheracloone beat Donaghmoyne by 0-14 to 1-6, but both teams are headed for the relegation playoffs where they join Ballybay and Truagh.
