Joanne Cantwell and Donal Óg Cusack went back and forth during today’s RTE championship coverage over the latter’s recent comments on the Tailteann Cup.
Speaking on 'Morning Ireland' recently, Cusack described the second-tier competition as “a sort of Gaelic football Grand National for disappointed also rans”.
Sunday Game presenter Cantwell pulled him up on the comments that she described as “disparaging remarks” and the following tense exchange took place between the two ahead of today's hurling matches:
