Former Kerry football manager Peter Keane has taken charge of Killarney Legion for a second time.

The Caherciveen native previously managed Legion to a rare Kerry SFC final appearance in 2015 when they lost to South Kerry by a point after a replay. He also led them to Kerry club SFC and East Kerry SFC final appearances during his two years in charge. Legion have since dropped to intermediate level and Keane will be eager to restore them to the top-flight.

It will be Keane’s first managerial role since his three-year reign as Kerry manager ended without All-Ireland success in 2021.
