The London senior hurling championship final is going to a replay after Robert Emmetts and St Gabriel's couldn't be separated at McGovern Park this afternoon.

The replay will take place on a date to be confirmed after an injury-time point by Shane Lawless rescued a 1-22 apiece draw for St Gabriel's.

Neil Rogers' side scored 1-7 without reply in a devastating 10-minute spell, including a goal from team-captain and former Kerry star Jack Goulding, to take a four-point lead (1-11 to 0-10) approaching half-time. There was still time for Emmetts to reply in kind as they went in trailing by 1-12 to 1-10 at the break.

Emmetts had one hand on the silverware when forging 1-22 to 1-20 clear with time almost up. But late points from wing-back Niall Eames and corner-forward Lawless ensured St Gabriel's a second bite of the cherry.
