Well done to Fionn O'Sullivan, Sean Coffey and Eoin Doyle for making the county minor panel for the 2019 season.

Our senior team got their season up and running with a 3-10 to 2-6 away victory against Kiltegan. It was great to see a few young lads getting a run with Dylan Smith making his first start. Jody Merrigan stole the show with a hat trick of goals. Next up is a home match against Tinahely on Sunday morning at 11am.

Congrats to both the senior ladies and senior men county teams on their impressive wins on Sunday in Aughrim as part of a doubleheader. The ladies defeating Down 1-16 to 3-4 while the men defeated Limerick 2-8 to 1-6. Hopefully it's the first of many doubleheaders in the years ahead.

The club sends its condolences to the Murphy family Wicklow Town on the passing of Micheal (Mick) Murphy. Mick who was secretary of St. Pats Gaa club and former county secretary was a true Gaa man and will be a big loss to the hole county. May he rest in peace.

Also we send our condolences to the Farrell family in Newtown on the passing of Peter. Peter is a nephew of Seamus (Slasher) Farrell in Woodside. May he rest in peace.
