Wicklow forward John McGrath has called time on his inter-county playing career.
The Baltinglass clubman served the Garden County for 12 seasons including this past one, featuring against both Offaly and Dublin in the Leinster championship in May.
In 2011, McGrath was diagnosed with leukaemia and underwent intense chemotherapy before re-joining the squad the following year.
The 31-year-old told the Irish Independent: "The time is right for me. I was only 50/50 to go back this year anyway but there are a few things now which make it that bit harder.”
Best of luck to Wicklow stalwart John McGrath in retirement
