Last Man Standing

It's that time of year again - there's less than a week to go to our annual National League Last Man Standing competition.

Who will take over as champion from Ryan Delaney and walk away with the €400 prize money? Entry is just €10 and can be paid to any club player or member. To enter, just provide an email address as this will be your means of making your selection each week and receiving instructions and confirmation of your selections.

All money raised will go towards the development of the club. If you have any questions, please leave a comment or send an email to [email protected]. Closing date for entry is this Friday, January 24 and thanks to Mel Kiernan for organising the competition once again.

Membership

Non-playing members can avail of a special rate of €100 which covers annual membership and entry in our weekly lotto draw for a year. Contact any committee member for more details.

Ladies football manager

Expressions of interest are sought for the position of trainer / manager of our intermediate ladies football team. We won a Division 3 league title last year, reached the semi-final of the championship and are seeking to build on that in 2020.

Applications by email only before Friday, January 31 to [email protected]

Lotto

Last week's lucky numbers were 1, 6, 7 and 26. The Match 3 winners were John Quirke, Caroline Harte, Angie Doonan and David Kelly. This week's draw takes place in McNamara's with the jackpot standing at €13,450. Tickets, costing €2, can be purchased locally. Thank you for your continued support.

Condolences

Sympathy is extended to former Athlone, St Loman's, Westmeath and Leinster footballer TJ Finneran on the passing of his wife Ann. TJ trained our senior team in the early 1980s. May she rest in peace.
