THE LATE MICHEAL(MICK) FEERICK
Shock and disbelief spread throughout Multyfarnham and surrounding areas on Tuesday evening last when word spread of the untimely death of our dear friend Micheal(Mick) Feerick. Described as a gentleman by everyone who knew him Mick was a lifelong Multy GAA man serving the club as a player, chairman and many roles over the years. In latter years Mick was the first friendly face you would meet at games in Multy as he would do the gate collection for our league games.
Mick's sons Gerard and Emmet are members of our intermediate panel and were part of the 2017 Junior team that brought great joy to Mick and the whole village of Multy when we won the Junior Championship and the Leinster title.
Mick's presence will be sorely missed by everyone involved in Multyfarnham GAA and indeed everyone who knew him.
To his heartbroken family Sheila, Aisling, Ger and Emmet and all Mick's extended family and friends we send our deepest condolences.
May He Rest in Peace.
Multyfarnham GAA also sends our deepest sympathies to the Carey and Greene families on the sad passing of Michelle Greene Carey.
May She Rest in Peace.
Training continues on Friday 17th of January. Full turnout expected lads as new season is just around the corner.
Hard luck to Ronan Wallace, Anthony McGivney and the Westmeath footballers who lost out to Offaly on Saturday last in the O’Byrne Cup semi-final.
Registration Day takes place this year on Sat 22nd of February from 11am to 2pm.
Looking forward to seeing all our current players back and looking forward to meeting all our new players signing up.
