Under 11 Challenge Match.

Naomh Barróg from Dublin are travelling to Athlone this Saturday Nov. 30th to play a series of hurling and football games. They will play Southern Gaels in hurling and Athlone GAA in football. Matches take place from 2.00 to 3.00 in Pairc Chiaráin and this a wonderful opportunity to play against different opposition in a fun setting. Looking forward to seeing a large number of Under 11's in attendance. Assemble at 1.30 at Páirc Chiaráin.  

 

Under 6's and 8's Training.

The Academy group continue their winter training in the Marist College Gym every Tuesday evening from 6.30 to 7.30. This is a fun event with young aspiring hurlers both boys and girls learning their trade. Thanks to all the parents who are great to bring their young hurlers.

 

Under 10/12 Training

This takes place every Sunday afternoon from 3.00 to 4.00 at the Gaelscoil Astro-turf pitch off the Athlone Sports Centre roundabout and so far there have been great numbers turning our - over 20 last Sunday! All are welcome.

 

Under 14/16 Training

This also takes place in the Gaelscoil every Sunday afternoon from 3.00 to 4.00.  This session is indoors in the school gym.  Again all are welcome.
