Under 6/8/10 News:

 

The Under 6s played challenge matches against Rosemount on Friday in Castledaly. 

 

The Under 8s played their last match of the season on Saturday morning.  

The final training session of the season for under 6 and 8 players takes place next Friday evening.

The Under 10s finish their season by hosting the annual Coughlan Cup tournament in Castledaly. Well done to all the players, coaches and parents of our young stars.

It is the end of a very enjoyable season for the Castledaly U8 football team, having been presented with their Certificate of Completion in Learning the skills of GAA. Congrats to Under 8 squad: Niamh, Michael, Logan, Eoin, Max, Sophie, Harry, Joe, Tadhg, Nathan, Eoin, Georgia,

Aoibheann ,Tomás, Grace, Mary, Ellie, Rachel, Aoibhe, Áine, Emily, Florence, Sheenagh, Anna, Keira, Gemma, Faith, Aoife, and their amazing coaches: Paul Donlon, JP Casey, Paddy Marsh, and James Galvin.

There were great days filled with fun and excitement while training and playing football. 

The two highlights of the year for the players were participating in the centralised blitz in Cusack Park, Mullingar, and also the trip to Croke Park to play in the Go Games Series. 

 

 

The future of Castledaly football looks bright with these young players already asking when the new season is due to commence, a testimony to the great work trainers and mentors are doing.

 

The Coughlan Cup will take place Sunday 6th October; all games on the one day this year, group matches and finals.

 

Castledaly Fit Club continues Monday Wednesday Friday with ladies’ classes at 7 and gents at 8pm under the expert guidance of Liam Lorcan and Paulette.

 

Monster Auction Sunday November 2nd 2pm in Moate Community Centre.  All donations of saleable goods or services gratefully appreciated. Contact committee members or chairman Joe Sheerin at 087 2472389 if you need donations collected. Goods can be delivered to centre on Saturday morning before auction.
