Thanks to all who enter this competition which is great value at just €3 per entry and next week's entry sheets for the final round of games can be picked up in the local pubs, the post office or from any of the players.

Texas Holdem

This year marks the 10th anniversary of our annual  Texas Holdem Tournament which will be held as usual on Good Friday night, 30th March, in St. Michaels Hall Castletown Geoghegan. The tournament, as always, is excellently ran by Timmy Halford with registration at 6.30pm and a start time of 7pm. It costs €25 to buy-in and re-buys are €10 and tables can also be sponsored for €30, we ask for as much support on the night as possible as a lot of work goes into organising this fundraiser.

Book Launch

Work is in progress to launch a book which will include all aspects from the GAA in our village from Football, Hurling, Camogie and Scor. If anyone has any old match reports or pictures they would be most appreciated and will be returned once scanned, please contact Pat Garvin at 0868093979 for any queries.

DLBC Community Games

There will be a meeting in Dysart National School on Wednesday 21st of March at 8pm to set up a committee to get the community games up and running again in our area.
