"We are a small GAA community in Scotland and Lancashire, and we need to lean on each other a little bit"- Glasgow Gaels manager Jimmy Treacy after the first ever North Britain League proved to be a success. 

The League brought together teams from both areas and ended with a drawn game between the Gaels and Oisin's from Manchester, 0-15 to 1-12.
