Well done and thankyou to all who attended our launch night on the 20th Jan the night of our club namesake Kevin Barry's Birthday! To mark the 100 Years Commeration of the death of Kevin Barry and the 75th Anniversary of Derrylaughan Kevin Barry's GAC the launch night saw Club Chairman Phillip Mc Court outline plans for development and fundraising within the Club and activities to commerate Kevin Barry over the course of the next year. This will culminate in our Club Gala Celebration planned for 31st Oct 2020.

The Black Tie Gala night in Armagh City Hotel will have some very special Guest Speakers with music by Kingpin, Tickets are £100 or £1000 per table, strictly no U16s - please contact any committee member for more information. On the launch night we celebrated our Honorary Members with supporters being treated to some Traditional Irish Music from our very own Scór / Scór na nÓg singers and instrumental group. A meeting for ticket sellers for the Club Development Fundraiser will be held on Friday 24th Jan in the Washingbay Centre at 7.30pm. A St Brigid’s Cross Making Night will be held in the Washingbay Centre on Fri 31st Jan ay 7.30pm with Irish Stew, Apple Tart, Tea, Coffee and Traditional Music on-hand for all who attend!

Please note that complaints have been made as regards some Dog owners not cleaning up Dog foul at the Washingbay Walking Track. Dogs are also not permitted to be let off leads or within the playing fields. Bins are provided to dispose of your dog bag - your help and support are welcome here and were it is safe to do so kindly challenge anyone that does not comply or report incidents to a member of the Club Committee. Dog mess is an eyesore and a health hazard to our children and members! Go raibh maith agaibh.
