AGM;

Strabane Sigersons hosted our 2018 AGM last Wednesday night, thank you to all those who attended.

Coming from the meeting it is clear that in all aspects of the club more help is needed to drive our club onto the next level. If anyone would like to help out in anyway within the club do not hesitate to contact any committee member or the Facebook Page.

There has been some fantastic work done this year and that is impossible without the volunteers who work tirelessly every week.

500 Club Draw;

We would like to say a massive thanks to everyone who bought a ticket in the draw, £100 in the current climate is a big ask but the people of Strabane and further afield never fail to help the club out. This money is essential each year to ensure the club grounds are kept in pristine condition, without doubt we have one of the finest facilities in Ulster and a major factor in that is the money we raise in this draw.

Club Person of the Year;

Congratulations to our club Secretary Sean Dudgeon who won club person of the year at our awards night on Friday night past, he dedicates every day of the week to Strabane Sigersons and is fully deserving of this accolade. Well Done Sean!

 

Social Club;

This Saturday the social club will be hosting their annual Christmas Party at 5pm, everyone is welcome at attend, the children have the opportunity to meet Santa followed by a Disco.

 

Every Sunday on the run up to Christmas there will be a Pool Competition in the social club at 5pm with the winner receiving a Christmas Turkey.

Youth;

Strabane Sigersons have the exclusive use of Melvin 3G on Monday nights for their winter league program. The league will be played in blitz style format of teams of 7 a side Strabane, no previous playing experience is needed and all new and returning players are welcome. All sessions are completely free of charge.

7-8pm Boys born 2005/2006

8-9pm Ladies Hour - Girls aged 15+

9-10pm Boys born 2004/2003/2002/2001

 

Sigersons Have-a-Ball is a series of fun-based exercises that will contribute to the development of rudimentary and fundamental movement skills among children in P1 & P2 classes. Melvin Sports Complex every Tuesday from 6:30-7:30pm.
