Semple Stadium may be rolled out as a designated Covid-19 'drive-thru' test centre in the near future after Tipperary GAA offered the HSE use of the facilities at the Thurles venue.
However, the Tipp county board revealed on their official Twitter account this morning that the HSE "do not require" the second largest GAA stadium for the time being at least.
Croke Park is one of a number of GAA grounds being used to carry out tests for the widespread coronavirus.
In relation to Covid-19 health crisis, Semple Stadium has been offered by Tipperary Co. Board as a drive through test centre & was viewed by an official from HSE on Wednesday last. That official has confirmed they do not require Semple Stadium for now but may in the near future.
