Carlow midfielder Jack Kavanagh is looking forward to the year ahead as the Barrowsiders test themselves against some of the biggest counties in the game.
Last year was a huge season for Colm Bonnar’s charges as the claimed promotion to 1B and won the Joe McDonagh Cup.
They begin their league campaign on Saturday with an away clash against Dublin at Parnell Park.
And Kavanagh told the Carlow Nationalist that they have worked very hard over the winter and are looking forward to the year ahead.
“We have done great work. We know you cannot get frustrated. You cannot react. You cannot do silly things like we were doing,” said Kavanagh.
“Coming up a step after winning games, we will probably be tested more this year at this level and we’ll see how it’s going.”
