Team enjoys 82-point win in Sligo SHC

Tubbercurry shipped a massive 6-36 to 0-2 defeat at the hands of Coolera-Strandhill in the Sligo senior hurling championship.
Here's one for the record books.
In the Sligo SHC at the weekend, Coolera-Strandhill beat Tubbercurry by a whopping 82 points, 16-36 to 0-2. While the result shows Coolera - who have never won the Sligo SHC - to be in fine fettle, it's a demoralising defeat for Tubbercurry who won a 10-in-a-row of county titles between 1995 and 2004.
Tubbercurry clearly have a long way to go to back up to that level, but after a defeat of this magnitude, their biggest challenge for now is to make sure they fulfil their remaining fixtures in the championship.
