New Dublin football boss Dessie Farrell

New Dublin manager Dessie Farrell is looking forward to “less talking” and “more action”.

Speaking to DubsTV ahead of this evening’s eagerly anticipated league opener against Kerry at Croke Park, the Na Fianna clubman revealed: “Preparations have been going well.

“We were glad to get the lads back from their holiday in one piece and back on the pitch.”

He added: “They’ve had a long time off, a good rest, enjoyed themselves, and rightly so, over the last number of months but they’re very focused now on get back to work.”

Jim Gavin’s successor expects the Kingdom to present a serious test for his team.

“It’s a young Kerry team, we know the trajectory they’re on so yeah really looking forward to it, less talking now and more action which is great.”
