SYMPATHY: Deepest sympathy is extended to the Woods & Hand families on the death of Jim Woods, who died in Belfast last week. Jim played corner forward on the Monaghan minor team which won the Ulster minor championship in 1939, defeating Cavan 108 to 107, Jim Scored a point in the All Ireland minor final loss to Roscommon. He played senior football for Oram in 1937 and was selected for the county minors in 1938. Jim later represented Antrim, he attended the opening of the new Pairc Padraic in 2012, and was recognised by the club in August as a past player who represented the county. May Jim rest in peace
