Club Lotto

We had no winner of this week’s lotto. The numbers drawn were 1, 15, 17 and 19. The four lucky dip winners were Denise Kelly, Alan McCahey, Bernie McGrane and Plunkett O’Reilly and each win €50. Our next jackpot is for €1700 and the draw will take place in the Meeting Room on Monday evening.

You can do the lotto via the usual outlets and online at www.magheracloonemitchells.ie. Thank you to all our lotto sellers who sell and all our lotto buyers who buy, it’s much appreciated.

Rematch!

The boys are back!!! Magheracloone Mitchells will be welcoming Victor and Nicholas Clarke down to their honorary club this Saturday September 14th where we will host Ratoath U8's in a replay of last year’s fixture. It promises to be a great day and we are looking forward to meeting the club that gave us a huge helping hand last year. Everybody welcome!

U10 Tournament

We held our Annual U10 Tournament on Saturday in our new temporary facilty. Teams from Magheracloone, Carrick, Aughnamullen, Knockbride, Inniskeen, Nobber, Westerns, Meath Hill/Drumconrath and Bailieborough all took part in the Tournament which proved to be a great success. Over 200 children took part and it was great to see such positive football on all our pitches.

Magheracloone claimed the Cup competition whilst Aughnamullen took the Shield home with Inniskeen also winning silverware in the Plate competition.

Thank you to all the travelling teams, their parents and supporters for helping make the day such a success. Also, to our own players, parents, committee etc, thank you for all your help and support organising the Blitz. To senior players, Jack, Barry, Allan, David and Alan, our juvenile players loved having you all there and helping pick out the awards for the Skills. Well done to Jack and Barry for refereeing the games too, much appreciated!
