Seniors: The Senior team played Emyvale at home last Wednesday night and were defeated in a highly entertaining game losing by 0-21 to 3-16. This was a game of high quality with some point scoring on show however it was the visitors to score goals at crucial times proving the difference in the end. In the first half both teams started well with Emyvale up by 4 at the break by 2-07 to 0-09. In the second half Aughnamullen went into the ascendancy and went 3 up by the half way mark of the second half but credit to the away they kept plugging away and wiped that lead away entering the final quarter and scored a good counter attack goal to win the game in their favour. Next game is on this Friday night at home to Killanny at 8pm. Best wishes is extended to team and management.

Reserves: The Reserves played in the penultimate game of the league when they had an excellent 10 point victory on Friday evening last against Killanny winning by 1-23 to 1-14. This was pure entertainment from start to finish and credit must be given to 2 excellent teams on a great sporting occasion. In the first half Aughnamullen started like a train and went up by 6 points after 15 minutes the highlight a goal by wing half back Packie Marron after good work by the Aughnamullen defence. Killanny scored a goal of their own to reduce the lead and at half time the score was 1-14 to 1-09 in favour of the home side.  In the second half the home side continue to dominate the game and scored 6 of the first 7 points of the second half to lead by 10 and although Killanny tried hard to the finish they never got closer than 9 and the blues strolled to victory.  Next game is on Wednesday night next the 17th July at home to Ballybay where a win will guarantee a home semi final spot so best wishes is extended to team and management.

In the first half the sides were level on a number of occasions however the away side scored below the interval to leave it to 4-5 to 2-6. After the resumption Aughnamullen scored a number of early scores to go into the lead only to pegged back and the game ebbed and flowed till the final few minutes when a few defensive errors left Inniskeen in the ascendancy.
