Emyvale Club Notes
March 12, 2019
Our senior reserves hosted Killanny on Sunday last in the 2 nd round of the league. Despite playing in difficult
conditions our lads showed well and were just pipped by the visitors at the end. Final score 1.10 to 1.09. The
next round takes place on the 23 rd March ; an away game to Aughnamullen.
Indoor training continues on Saturday mornings for nursery and u7’s from 10-11am and 11am-12pm for U9’s
in Emyvale Leisure Centre.
U11 training in the short term continues Monday and Thursdays, venues and times available on the WhatsApp
group. A good attendance required as our first spring league game is Saturday 23rd March.
U13’s continue to train Monday and Thursday evenings in Tully weather permitting.

Benny Connolly tournament Monday 18th
U17 ‘s played a challenge game last Sunday morning. Everyone enjoyed it and it was good start despite the
blustery cold conditions. Many thanks to Scotstown for the challenge game and the very best wishes to them
this season. If any parent could do first aid or if number of parents are able to share this role for the season
please contact u17 management asap. Any help with this role would be very much appreciated. Training
continues this Tuesday at 7.30pm in Tully. First league game Tuesday March 27th details to be confirmed.
We will host our annual u15 Eamon Mc Elroy / Benny Connolly memorial tournament this Monday 18th. With
teams traveling by coach and car all help will be needed and appreciated with parking or at pitch side. Please
contact Martin O Brien or any juvenile committee member to see how you can help keep this tournament
running so well.
SCOR Notes: Our Ceile dance team, set dance team and solo singer all got through tonight in Ulster semi-finals
and are now through to ulster final on sat 23rd March in Gallbally Co. Tyrone. This is a great achievement for
our club and congratulations to all involved.
