Seniors

Our seniors suffered another defeat to Scotstown last Friday evening.

U15's

The U15's played Monaghan Harps in Round 6 of the U15 Div 1 league last Thursday in Magheracloone. Our lads got off to a very slow start and found themselves 3:03 to 1:01 down after twelve minutes. After a few positional changes the lads started to gel. Our midfielders and forwards started to run at the Harps defence and at half time we were back to within one point despite having hit the bar and the post in a fifteen minute purple patch. The 2nd half started a lot better for the young Mitchell's who's work rate on and off the ball was a delight to watch. Despite a late rally from the Harps our lads ran out victorious on a score line if 5:13 to 3:14. We play Carrick in Carrick this Thursday at 6:45pm. Please note earlier time.

Ladies' Club Notes

Seniors

Our senior Ladies were away to Corduff on Sunday last. The game got off to a great start. At the half way mark, we were up 4:04 to 2:08.

Corduff fought back at the beginning of the second half with the sides going level, then Corduff went five points up. Magheracloone dug deep, played great football, coupled with some Fantastic scores. Final score 5:09 to 3:14.

Well done girls and management on a super performance.

Training continues this week on Tuesday and Thursday 8-9pm
