Croke Park hosted the All-Ireland ladies football semi-finals today and this may well be one of the greatest goals ever to be scored at the Jones' Road venue.
Picking up possession in the middle of the field at the start of the second half, Mayo captain Niamh Kelly set off on a mazy solo run which ended with her rifling an unstoppable shot to the roof of the Galway net.
It brought Mayo level, but Galway went on to win by the narrowest of margins, 2-10 and 2-9, and qualify for next month's All-Ireland final against either Cork or Dublin.
TweetAn incredible solo run and goal by the @Mayo_LGFA captain Kelly!
