Manager: The club have appointed John O’Connor as our new manager the Dunleer man will be in charge of our division 2 and senior championship team for the 2019 season. We wish him the best of luck for next season.

Leinster: Best of luck to the three Louth clubs, Young Irelands, St. Mochtas and Newtown Blues in action in the Leinster Club Championships this weekend.

 

AGM: Our annual general meeting will take place this Friday 30th November at 8pm in our clubrooms, all players, members and intending members are requested to attend. This is your chance to have a say about anything in the club from how it is run to the way the team plays, or maybe you want to come on board the committee or share some of your ideas to help the club. This is the night to do it, so if you’re interested come along.

 

Social Dancing: There will be social dancing on Saturday 17th November in our clubrooms from 9.00pm, music by Done & Dusted, admission €10 and refreshments will be served.

 

Coaches: Louth coaching and games are looking to add to their small but committed bunch of volunteer football and hurling coaches for 2019. They are now accepting expression of interest for the positions with their hurling and football squads. Tickets: The GAA season for 2019 are now on sale, adult tickets cost €120, juvenile (u16) €30, adult+€200. The GAA season ticket for teams in divisions 3 & 4 in the Allianz Football Leagues will remain at adult €99, juvenile (u16) €20, adult+€200. Some of the benefits access to all Allianz League matches including semi-finals and finals in your selected code. Your county’s opening championship fixture, access to a discounted ticket for the GAA championship group stages in your selected code, entry to the AIB Club Championship Finals on 17th March. The adult+ version includes club championship fixtures within chosen county and guaranteed All-Ireland Final ticket should your county qualify (selected code only).
