Ladies Junior Championship Final Result:

O’Raghallaighs / Oliver Plunketts 2-11, Hunterstown Rovers 1-03

 

U16 Match Report:

St Kevin's/Westerns/Sean McDermotts/Glyde Rangers 0-14, O’Raghallaighs 5-10

 

The North Roaders travelled to Reaghstown to play the mid Louth selection in this U16 A Championship quarter final on Wednesday. The home side raced into a 6 point lead, before the hoops got a grip and started to play their attacking football. The star men on the night were Daire O'Rourke, Lee Grifferty, Andrew Collier, Tony Smith Rory O'Neill and Kyle McElroy, but in truth all 19 players played their part. A special mention goes to Oisin Lynch who stepped up from the under 14 squad to make his debut for the 16’s.

 

Next up is the division 1 league final on Saturday 15th in Darver v St Josephs @ 1.30pm. Let's get out and support this great group of young footballers.

U7's Blitz Report:

The O'Raghallaighs had the pleasure of hosting the last U7's regional blitz of the season on Sunday morning with teams from Mattock Rangers, Naomh Malachi and John Mitchels attending.

 

Our young team did our club proud with each player demonstrating great passion, teamwork and individual skill from the very first whistle to the very last.

 

A huge thank you as always to the families of all our players for the support throughout the season.

 

Training for the U7's continues at 7pm on Tuesday and weather permitting will run up to the end of September.

 

Fixtures

Our U18’s play St Josephs away from home on Wednesday evening. Throw in is at 6.30pm. All support welcome

 

This Saturday, our U16’s play against St Mochtas / St Josephs in the Division 1 league final in Darver. Throw in is at 1.30pm. All support welcome.

 

On Friday, our U15 team face off against Dundalk Young Irelands / St Mochtas away from home. Throw in is at 6.30pm.

 

Our U13’s play Cuchulainn Gaels away from home on Monday evening. Throw in is at 6.45pm. They then go on to play Newtown Blues at home on Thursday evening. Throw in is at 6.45pm.

 

Juvenile Training

O’Raghallaighs Academy finished up training for the season on Saturday morning. There was a fantastic turn out with fun, games & treats galore. Big thank you to all the parents who brought our young gaels to training each week. Well done to all the academy players who all made great progress throughout the season. Big shout out to our academy coaches who gave up their time every Saturday encouraging and supporting all our young players throughout the season.
