Sympathy: Dromard GAA club extends its sympathy to the Grimes family on the death of William (Bill) Grimes, Rathfarnham, Dublin. Sam Maguire in Dromard: Thank you to Dermot and Nicola Reilly for organising the visit of the Sam Maguire Cup to the Clubhouse on Saturday morning and thanks to the large crowd who turned up. 

Philly McGuinness U20 League: Well done to the Longford U20 footballers on their fine win over Sligo in Round 1 of the U20 League and to Dromard’s Joseph Hagan who scored five points. 

O’Byrne Cup Semi Final: Best of luck to the Longford senior panel and management as they take on five-in-a-row All Ireland champions Dublin in Pearse Park on Saturday. Throw in at 2pm.
