West U21 B Football Championship Semi-Final

This was a very one sided game with Dromcollogher/ Broadford were clearly the better team on the day with the goals coming from Luke Ryan and Jack Pierce, Athea scored two goals late in the goal against the run of play and this win puts into the final against Clan an nGael, on this coming Sunday December 1st, in Tournafulla, at 2.30pm, referee to be announced.  Please Support our U21 Footballers Management team led by Kevin Noonan and our U21 Footballers led by Michael Ryan Captain.

 

Dromcollogher/ Broadford scored the first 1-5 of the game with the goal coming from Luke Ryan with 15 minutes gone in the game and the points came from Luke Ryan 2 points, Colm Ryan and Adam Sheehan a point each and then Athea scored their first of the game. To leave the score at half-time Dromcollogher/ Broadford 1-5 to Athea 0-1.

 

Dromcollogher/ Broadford scored the 1-2 with the goal coming from Jack Pierce with 42 minutes gone in the game and the points came from Colm Ryan and Brian Aherne and then Athea scored the next 1-1 of the game to leave 8 points between the sides with 49 minutes gone in the game. Dromcollogher/ Broadford scored the next two points of the game coming from Colm Ryan and Luke Ryan and then Athea scored the next goal of the game coming from a free to leave 9 points with 55 minutes in the game.  Dromcollogher/ Broadford scored the last point of the game coming from Colm Ryan to leave eight points the sides at end of the game to book our place in the final against Clan an nGael.  To leave the score at full-time Dromcollogher/ Broadford 2-10 to 2-02.

To the Egan Family, Dromcollogher on the death of Maura Egan RIP (nee Hanigan) Dromcollogher, predeceased by her brothers Séan and Liam.
