Kildimo/Pallaskenry club notes

July 17, 2019

CLUB LOTTO WINNER: A huge congratulations to Eileen & John O’Brien of Pallaskenry who, this week, won the lotto jackpot of €17,300 in the Seven Sisters! It was over three years since the lotto had been won and we were delighted to see Eileen & John take home the cheque! The winning numbers were 2, 10, 15, 20.

Many thanks must go to all our lotto sellers, contributors, players and supporters for your continued support with the club lotto as the jackpot now resets to €2,500 for next week’s draw in the Corner House.

CÚL CAMP: The club’s Cúl Camp is ongoing this week and we’re delighted to have so many children sign up! The weather is looking good and hopefully a great week will be had by all.

LIMERICK U-20 FOOTBALLERS: Commiserations to Jamie Hickey and the Limerick U-20 footballers who were defeated by Kerry in the Munster Semi-Final last week. After a great victory over Tipperary, the Limerick footballers put in another huge effort but came up against a very strong Kerry team, who have been dominant at minor level over the past number of years.

MINOR HURLING CHAMPIONSHIP: Kildimo/Pallaskenry 1-14 Murroe/Boher 2-19. There was disappointment for our minor hurlers who were defeated by Murroe/Boher; it was a good performance by our lads but our opponents were just a little more clinical on the evening but there is plenty of encouragement to be taken from the performance!

ALL-COUNTY FOOTBALL LEAGUE DIVISION 4 FINAL: Best of luck to our footballers who face Bruff in the Division 4 League final on Tuesday evening!

REGISTRATION: The deadline for registration has now passed; anybody who has not registered or paid, please do so as soon as possible as unregistered players are ineligible to take the field or to train with the club.

CLUB LIMERICK DRAW: Sadly, there was no club winner in the Club Limerick draw for June. However, there is no better way to support both and show our players you’re right behind them all the way. Kildimo Pallaskenry GAA is very fortunate to have a number of players involved with county teams in both hurling and football across a number of grades. Join the CLUB Limerick Draw online or with any club committee member. Support your club and county teams!
