U16 Division 1 Hurling Championship

Knockainey/Hospital/Herbertstown vs Cappamore

Venue: Knockainey

The conditions for the match weren't ideal with strong winds and rain. Cappamore started better with a fine solo goal by Mike Fitz, however with Cappamore dominant aided by the breeze the following 10 scores were split 5 points apiece. Cappamore scoring fine points from play by A Meehan and C Kennedy. 

Half time score 1-5 vs 0-5

On the restart we got the first two scores but knockainey/HH got back in the game and nearing the end were leading by one with the breeze but credit to Cappamore and Luke Ryan for the final point of the match to level the scores 1-10 vs 1-10

U8 Hurling Challenge

Thanks to Mike Blackwell and Ahane GAA for hosting a challenge game. Two separate matches U8s and U7s.

U14 Hurling Championship 

Cappamore 2-7 vs 2-6 Bruff

Wed 17 April 2019

Venue: Cappamore 

Our championship got off to a great start last Wednesday night in Cappamore where we defeated Bruff by a single point. There was never much between the teams throughout the game.Trailing by 2 points at half time, Cappamore raised the tempo in the second half and came away deserving winners. Next up for these lads is football championship Wednesday evening 24th against Claughan in Cappamore.

Cappamore 1-14 vs 3-24 Caherline

Cappamore came up against a fitter and sharper caherline team who pulled away in the second half. The first half was even enough caherline up by 3 at half time.
