JUNIOR HURLING: On Saturday evening July 14th, our Junior team faced Kilteely Dromkeen in our last round game in this years East Championship. This was a game that, for a lot of the first half at least, was controlled by Kilteely. They had two early points on the board when Caherline rattled the back of the net in the 6th minute, thanks to Paudie Wixted. David Corbett added a point shortly afterwards, but for the next 20 mins or so, Kilteely had the majority of possession, popping over 8 unanswered points, Kilteely ahead 0-10 to 1-01, 25 mins gone. Andrew Brennan pulled us back into it with 3 points, 2 frees & 1 from play, with Kilteely adding one of their own, to leave it Caherline 1-04 Kilteely 0-11 at half time.In the second half, Caherline hurled much better, and the pressure was starting to tell on Kilteely early, as they started giving away a lot of frees, Andrew Brennan popping over 3 frees in the first 8 mins of the half, adding to a point from play from James Enright. Jack Enright was unlucky not to connect with a long ball in around the square shortly afterwards, but Eoin Nelligan had tracked in behind and connected beautifully, driving the ball passed the Kilteely keeper, Caherline now up 2-08 to 0-12, 11 mins gone. At the other end of the field, Mike Moloney pulled off a great save to deny Kilteely, but they managed to slot over the resulting 65. In the remaining 16 or so minutes, Caherline scored another 7 points to Kilteely's 1 point, Kilteely losing a player to a straight red not helping their cause. Final score, Caherline 2-15 Kilteely Dromkeen 0-15.

U-16 HURLING: Well done to our U-16's on a great win against Askeaton/Ballysteen/Kilcornan on Monday evening last in Caherconlish, Caherline winning on a scoreline of 4-14 to 3-09. Next up for the lads is an away game to Dromin/Athlacca/Banogue on July 23rd.

U-14 HURLING: Our U-14's travelled in to Caherdavin on Wednesday evening July 11th to take on Na Piarsaigh in our 7th game in this years Championship. Playing with the breeze in the 1st half, Caherline were the better team, moving the ball around well and taking some great scores, leading 1-02 to 0-01 after 10 mins, the goal coming from Jack McElligott in the 5th minute. Caherline pushed on for the rest of the half, scoring an additional 1-04, leaving the half-time score 2-06 to 0-01. Na Piarsaigh started the 2nd half well, using the breeze to put our

backs under pressure, scoring a goal of their own 3 minutes in. But our lads stepped it up and with some great link play, were able to move the ball around well. Jack pounced with 2 more goals (7' & 18') and with some great points from Sam McElligott, Sean McGrath & Hugh Murnane, Caherline pushed on to win well, on a scoreline of 4-11 to 1-03.
