Galway ladies star suffers another injury setback

Galway ladies star Nicola Ward is set for a spell on the sidelines after suffering knee ligament damage in her club Kilkerrin-Clonberne's All-Ireland SFC final defeat to Mourneabbey last month.
The All-Star defender had only returned from a knee ligament injury this season as she helped both her club and county to All-Ireland final appearances and this latest setback is expected to rule Ward out of the entire 2020 Lidl National League campaign.
Meanwhile, Galway manager Tim Rabbitt has included former Mayo boss Frank Browne in his backroom team for the new season.
