Kerry manager Peter Keane and his management team will reflect on the league campaign before putting a championship squad together.

Keane admitted to the Kerryman that he was relatively happy with the league campaign overall, despite losing last Sunday’s final to Mayo.

Now, the Kerry manager turns his attention to the Munster SFC and their opening match against either Clare or Waterford on Saturday June 1st.

That is roughly nine weeks away and with the players returning to their clubs for the month of April, Keane has the opportunity to run the rule over his squad.

“We’ll be sitting down next week probably and tidying up our panel and putting a championship panel together, but I have to say that I’m happy with where we’re at after the league,” said Keane.

“We’d be happier had we won last Sunday, don’t get me wrong, we didn’t go up thinking ‘ah we’re going to lose this and it’ll be lovely for us’ but I’m relatively happy.”
