When Aidan o Shea first started with Mayo I thought he wasn't a good footballer. But then I became his biggest fan, he was an absolute beast there for about 3 years. Recently I think I may have been right the first time. Also on the question of Davy, I still think he's a lunatic. He will never convince the hurling purists like myself, for the simple fact that what Wexford played last week wasn't hurling. HurlingSnob (Dublin) - Posts: 220 - 15/06/2017 19:16:42 2000086 Link 0 |

I couldn't see Galway beating Meath in the 2001 All Ireland football final. I was younger and more impressionable and let Meath's semi final hammering of Kerry totally effect my thinking. I also really under rated Padraig Joyce as a player and had that fallacy shown up that day too. Laois76 (Laois) - Posts: 1270 - 12/07/2017 00:44:26 2015344 Link 6 |
