Graham Geraghty Medals Stolen

(Oldest Posts First) - Go To The Latest Post

What a silly post absolutely nothing to do with the topic, but you have an excuse, life really is colourless in your part of the world.

Oh dear, someone hurting.

I'm sure Geraghty will appreciate your expression of sympathy.

Reported in the news some of the medals have been retrieved, delighted , I'd hate to see anything someone worked so hard for stolen by a low life

Weird that they were found in a bag on a street in Arklow, hopefully the heat got to much and they decided to dump them and that happens for the rest of them too.

If you've ever held one it's amazing they are lovely but their true worth and beauty is a secret and bond only the person who won it ( or family member) could appreciate

Probably no more than he appreciates everyone else's wishes for their return though in fairness. Hi Graham if you're reading.

Oh Fionn you do cheer me up. Have you ever had a read at your own posts or do you just not do irony? Maybe, just maybe some of you are easily offended or look to be wound up by what people post. Then the wagons get circled and you get the entourage all jumping in to take offence or have a go. It's a message board FFS - anonymous people giving opinions, having a bit of craic etc. Don't take it so seriously!

They're very precious, don't take any notice of them .

Look this is a serious topic on the HS forum.
A player who has served his clubs, and county with distinction got his inter county medals stolen.
You clearly have not played football at a high level or been fortunate to win medals of any significance, by showing the lack of respect this topic deserves.
You once again see fit to highjack yet another topic with a cheap shot at the Dubs in your earlier posts.

You should learn to stick to the relevant topic and not try to earn brownie points with other anti Dublin posters on here.

How many topics on here now become an avenue for a cheap shot at Dublin...??
Nearly most I would suggest.

We are all for a bit of craic on here but a time and a place my good friend.

Like I stated earlier - a WUM trying to provoke a reaction at every single opportunity.

You deserve a black card at this stage for persistent Off topic anti Dub posts.

Tis foolish to make assumptions about someone you have no idea who they are though Fionn. For the record I played Gaelic Football at every level except Provincial and the Compromise Rules and have enough medals to remind me of my playing days thanks all the same for your concern. And if you've been around here long enough you will know I don't look to curry favour or win brownie points off anyone - I am my own man and say what is on my mind.

Out of interest, when did you get appointed as the decider of what posts are serious and which are allowed a bit of slagging? As I said in my previous post, just have to look at a few of your recent posts on other topics to see that you don't take everything serious yourself and are fond of having a go at other posters. But then again irony is one of your things it seems :-)

While it's a shame the medals were taken at least none of his family who were in the house at the time of the burglary were hurt or involved in any altercation with the thieves. Medals are just keep sakes of what he has won nobody can take away the fact that we won those titles.
