Great first half. Mayo bringing real intensity and fight to the game. Doing great defending getting turnovers etc. Dubs not their usual self....yet!

As usual Dublin playing 15 men behind the ball...what happened to the open expansive game and playing football the traditional way...yes we knew Gavin was talking tripe all along

A great first half. Am sure the 'special one' will be brought on now.

How is McCauley still on the pitch? Constant elbow and trips , he had six fouls before he got a yellow.

Keegan conceded one goal and should be 2. Liability in full back line as I predicted

Pros vs semi pros. The gap is going to get bigger over the next 5 year's.

Replying To festinog:  "Very intense first half; if Dublin go on and lose this their tactics will definitely be part of the conversation. One thing to die with your boots on, but when you've got your entire team in your own half against a team as aggressive as Mayo, you're asking for trouble.

Something new needed from Dublin in the second half, while at the same time we'll need to see if Mayo can maintain this pace. For all their possession they're only two points up."
Gavin's tactical nous has always been questionable. See 2014 semi final and team selection for 2017 final.

The big names have upped it in the 2nd half and papered over those cracks in style.

Replying To Ronan1989:  "Dublin should win this fairly comfortably in the end.

Mayo were quite impressive against an underperforming Donegal team with a few players still affected by their previous knocks and in front of their home fans. But they let Donegal back into it and only win in the end because their kicking accuracy was slightly less poor than Donegal and it was still like 30%.

A full strength Dublin team in Croke Park wont be so complacent. I predict Dublin winning by 8 plus points."
i think i was fairly accurate:p

Fair play to Tom Parsons though

I'm not sure. I'm wondering if he ceded the first half counting on Mayo playing their hearts out, and their legs giving up in the second. He's not leading Dublin to their fifth by accident and it's possible he just played Horan like a fiddle.
