Replying To TrimJim:  "We already know the outcome of the other group but this group is genuinely intriguing, from a Meath perspective we ran Donegal very close twice in the league and beat Cork (who gave Kerry an almighty scare) comfortably. I think Mayo are there for the taking but will be dangerous if not respected."
I didn't realise Meath had already qualified but you obviously already know the outcome of that as well as the other group!!

Replying To ThyKingdomComeThyWillBeDone:  "As I Kerry fan I fear this fixture. Home advantage helps but Mayo are vastly experienced and they essentially bullied us the last two fixtures. Our defence is porous and our midfield poor. Mayos running game could cause high problems. But if we get even at midfield we have classier forwards. We haven't lost in Killarney since 1995. I see RTE are showing Cork V Dublin. With Dublin 1/50. Sky are not showing the Kerry Mayo clash so is it not being shown live. If so that's laughable, it's the tie of the round"
I would say it's a sky sports double on Saturday evening with Roscommon v Tyrone and Dublin v Cork.......then on Sunday RTE double with Cork v Kilkenny in the hurling at 2 followed by the Kerry v Mayo at 4.

Then on Sunday we have Donegal v Clare/Meath at 2pm and Kerry v Mayo at 4pm.

Is there any reason the Kerry v Mayo game won't be on TV?"
I don't think there is.

Ya,Clare huffed and puffed but sure they are up against it in fairness with it being a hurling stronghold. Similar to the most of the Munster counties in fairness. Kind of highlights how poor Munster opposition is at the minute.
Football is a poor relation in the hurling province. No opposition to Kerry really and they all football really. Small aul pockets of hurling but Tis poor enough fare all things being considered.

OK I get it, you are thrilled to be in Super 8s. But I hope your observations are going to be based on something more than delusional wishful thinking. Bizarre post.

From some posts on here Roscommon & Cork are going to be nothing more than a glorified training session for you guys & Tyrone. The only question to be answered who will be #1. Doubt Jim Gavin is thinking that way

I see Kerry v Mayo is the only fixture yet to be put up on Tickets.ie (even though I know tickets don't go in sale until tomorrow morning).
Is this anything to do with the capacity of the Fitzgerald stadium, I was thinking, surely at least, 35,000. Was usually about 40,000 for Munster finals. I know they took away the concrete seats in the scoreboard end but they filled it with tarmac so people can go in there as sort of a terrace kind of thing before they put in the permanent terrace down that end over the winter. I imagine we'll be looking at a crowd of about 35,000.

I was wondering that myself actually? I didn't know it was already decided! Any upset would hardly be of Laois preportions!

Can't say 100% myself but from talking to people from Listowel (his home town) that his attitude was a problem. He thought he was entitled for a place on the team without putting in the hardwork and was a hard man to work with.

One of the most ignorant posts I've seen in a while on so many levels but not surprised.

Remember O'Connor got Darren o'sullIvan black carded 2 years ago, he ran and grabbed darran pulled him to the ground and Mr gough was only too happy to oblige and give darran a black.

Don't get me wrong westkerry. You are correct. No Kerry player on the current side has the same reputation as Keegan and O'Connor because lets be honest the majority of the current Kerry squad have not being around that long.
For one second I am not saying Keegan and O'Connor are saints. But for years Mayo were critised for being too soft. Now when we stand you for ourselves physically and not get pushed around, we are dirty. But Kerry players present and in the past had and have an edge. Remember the league game v Dublin this year. I don't remember the Kerry team rolling over against Dublin but went toe to toe even after the final whistle when ye were walking off the pitch.
