I always find it sad how no Dublin fans will acknowledge how the current situation renders any of the county's achievements meaningless.

The best management to ever exist in the game, absolute genius. The fact this is tainted by financial doping makes Dublin the victims.

PK has no intention of sorting out our defense jimbo, we don't have defenders the likes of Marc and Aidan and Tomás like we used to but what we do have is a lot of good attacking defenders so I think PK sees what we got, and he's thinking we'll just go all out attack and try and out score teams.

Personally I'm looking forward to it I think it's a breath of fresh air and I want to see where this goes and especially after the dire negative stuff we had to watch for the last few years under fitz.

Ha. You're a master at it bud. In fact I'm beginning to wonder if you are The Master, perhaps switching allegiance from his native Mayo after so many false dawns. He spouted some awful stuff as well.

Anyone else enjoying the rest of the country loosing their loads as the rounds fall, whiff of fear.

We neither want or seek outside affirmation or validation we look to our own, it's our way.

Every player, coach and kit bag man given a pub or given a pot of gold for the privilege of having his name over it. There's a huge asterisk against a lot of those cheap AIs that made celebs and bags of money for a lot of Kerry men who could enjoy their smokes and a few pints from their own bar following their procession to another Sam, unlike this Dublin team of Trappist monks whose only enjoyment might be a glass of 7UP, diet 7UP, after a hard fought win in game 7, a semi, on the road to a final. Shame on real Kerry men for attempting to blot the snow white canvas that is the reputation of this greatest team of all time. And to think that we Dubs once thought that Kerry men knew their football. We've been duped. Shame on ye."
Kerry did indeed have a handier run to the semi-final. But 1) they didn't get 25 million in GAA/state aid + millions more in sponsorship 2) they didn't play every match in their home stadium.

I see your giving yourself plenty of rope to hang yourself on here tonight, plenty more like you on here from your own county sadly. Posters whose increasingly desperate attempts to counter what is now recognized as utterly indefensible favoritism towards Dublin only results in ludicrous statements like "sure we only play where we are told" or "sure it's not our fault lorry loads of money were dumped on our door" - essentially can't the other 31 counties stop their bully boy tactics and let us play in Parnell Park in hand me down socks and shorts we'd be so happy out then ;D

As another poster said how that trash you wrote was allowed to be posted is a sad indictment of this forum.

Don't be silly Dublin don't leave crokepark :-) but we did play ye in a neutral venue twice and we drew 1 won 1 we also beat Mayo Sligo Tyrone Longford so we're undefeated in Munster by teams from other provinces.

Yes I see that's the basic line your peddling now given the scales have finally fallen from the eyes of everyone about what's gone on in Dublin.
You can't defend it and you can't face admitting it will forever tarnish the legacy of what's been won this decade.
So what's the solution you yourself have concocted? - claim that people calling out a totally unfair and unbalanced inter-county scene which means every rival is essentially fighting with one hand tied behind their back is their supporters 'loosing their load' as you so eloquently put it. But not nearly as eloquent as that last line, man that is some inspirational stuff, Gavin should get you in to pin up some banners in the dressing room. "It's our way" indeed...

No they were handed AIs instead. Check their run to the 1980 AI title. Even the current Meath team would have won that one. Of course you do realise that most of this current Dublin team are about 30 years old and were developed about 14-15 years ago. How many millions in GDF was pouring into Dublin in 2004?

Does this mean you've given up ghost writing Dublins GAA biography?

Thank god for that, coz we can see with our own eyes what's going on and we don't need your spin .

Your red thumb count is skyrocketing tonight bud. You'll need to log onto your other accounts quickly to right the deficit. :). When you keep denying that Dublin have no say in where their games are fixed then there's no hope for ye me aul flower. Sure we even hand ourselves out the GDF money. We also plan to annex Kildare next to boost our population. Chin up and remember to keep believing what you are posting, like that Kerry richly deserved those very hard won 81 Munster titles in that hurling province of yours. :)
