Kerry V Cork

Anybody else think the standard of this match is poor? The amount of basic skill errors is ridiculous. I wont even mention the defending as there is none.

Kerry forwards look brilliant but their full back line could have conceded 4 goals by now.

Entertaining enough so far.

There's a Peter Crowley shaped object missing from that Kerry defense

If that's the best the Kerry setup can do with their defense they'll not be winning Sam anytime soon

In my honest opinion Shane Ryan wouldn't get near the Dublin panel A, B or C

Massive weak area to be exposed

Kerry absolutely no threat to the Dubs. A defence like Swiss cheese.

That's it yeah, I'd say he's a bit off the fitness levels required alright.
He got a scorching a couple of times and seems bunched.

So they take off their dangerous full forward and leave him on.

Cork refusing to kick it into their full forward line, instead kicking wides from 40 yards.

I don't think this ref is up to standard either by the way.

This thread is about cork and kerry and has got nothing to do with dublin.

Great, enjoyable game. Well done to the rebels for making a good account of themselves. It was a very sloppy game full of errors and wastes, if Cork had of bagged one of their goals earlier on, who knows. Kerry have serious problems at the back. Wow, just wow. They have huge talent up front though. Hard to know where either team will finish up before the end of the season.

Well done Kerry.

Cork were a little better than expected but I've rarely seen a team that take the wrong option so many times during a game.

I'm not quite sure how Cork stayed in that game despite making so many really bad mistakes.

That was a mad game, it was exciting at times but very poor standard for a provincial final. Cork put up a great fight with Rory Deane absolutely immense. They sliced through Kerry at will and if they had taken some of those missed goal chances would have won. Hopefully this is something for Cork to build on and wish them the best of luck.

Kerry will be very disappointed with their performance, good going forward but poor at the back. I dont think there is any point considering them as challengers to Dublin, in fact they will struggle to get through the Super 8s. They seem to have loads of men back but struggle when teams run at the heart of their defence.

Kerry reduced to fifteen men and needed a big contribution from Anthony Whelan. He didn't let them down.

Fair play to Kerry finishing well with 14 men

They'll need a massive improvement in defense as that was as bad a Kerry defense performance that I've seen in a fair while.

Well done to Cork, very wasteful and they really let a big win slip out of their hands but don't forget they are currently a Div 3 side and had a very poor year

Peter Crowley hugely missed

Shane Ryan going to be targeted big time

Thought Cork were brilliant for desire and general okay and the overall better team on the day to be honest, Kerry had more of a cutting edge and less mistakes, that's about it really. Holes all over the show in both teams.

Plenty of teams around the country be sleeping easy tonight. Both will be hoping that there is plenty of headroom they can grow into because they will need to.

Enjoyable game for this stage of the championship though!
