Yeah but you have to be honest and see how deluded so many kildare fans are, we havnt won a leinster senior in 19 years nor do we look like winning won anytime soon. We are as far behind Dublin as any other team is in leinster. That said I hope the u20 win last year can inspire more interest in under age and bring further success which hopefully will act as a spring board to senior success in time, I won't hold my breath though. i have a funny feeling that the leinster council and GAA bosses have warned dublin head honchos to play the game as regards not absolutly hammering louth tomorrow evening , i exoect dublin maybe to only win by 10 points and play well withiin themselves 2-15 to 0-10 dickie10 (UK) - Posts: 693 - 24/05/2019 22:53:13 2187219 Link 1 |

Why is it a farce?? Are you for real? Open those eyes mate.. Do you not think it a farce when.. ..A generation in Kildare (1989)and Meath, Laois too probably has passed since Dublin last played either at home in LFC? ..A generation has passed since Kildare last played any team at home in the LFC? (1995) ..The money you and me spend on tickets following our teams a fraction will go back to the our counties while the rest is pocketed by Leinster council (AKA Dublin GAA)? ..That by following your team you are actually supporting Dublin GAA? ..That while money is being sucked out of our counties to fund our county teams in this farce of a competition Dublin GAA do not need to (and don't) fund raise one cent? ..That your and my hard earned tax payers cash is being used through gov funding to support financially doped Dublin GAA despite getting multi millions more than the rest of Leinster combined in sponsorship? Do you need me to go on? Dublin in Leinster is like Man City in the league of ireland except in this case Man city don't have to play any away games!! An absolute shambolic farce of a competition. cuttothebone (Kildare) - Posts: 163 - 25/05/2019 10:01:11 2187243 Link 3 |

Nice bit of parking to be honest, paid parking in the centre of excellence next door and a free multi story car park beneath Parkside, but it fills up fast - people end up parking on the road down towards the M7 junction & Midway Hotel. My advice is park in the town centre (there is also a few industrial estates within distance) and walk up to the ground. It's not far. There is a public walkway behind the Laois Co Co building which is quiet fast to the ground - if you decide to park around Lidl/Aldi in the town centre. Enjoy Everyone, & safe trip! Man City aren't in the League of Ireland. What point were you not making about them?
