Huge game for Cork lose and that's their season over , I personally after last Sunday can only see one winner limerick by 6.

I do expect a bit of a backlash. Will it be enough? I don't think so...

I'm going for limerick to win despite a cork backlash but then again I taught Dublin, waterford & cork would win last weekend...

If Cork defend like last Sunday then its curtains for their season, shambolic performance bar one or two players. Dont think myler is the man for the job

Would think the cork players got a rocket up the behind this week. Cooper was a big loss last week.
Wouldn't surprise me if it's a draw but just favour Limerick

I've a feeling cork might win this. The 6 limerick backs and goalie are very strong tho so they'll need them to have an off day. Hard to call

Stand tickets sold out. Are we looking at upwards of 35k for this? Limerick by 2.

60/40 game in Limericks favour. The Gaelic grounds is an advantage and if they lead from the front Cork will struggle. Cork have some great players and if they start like a train then Limerick will have their work cut out to reel them in. Ultimately though I think Limerick will win. They ll find a way either by substitutions or by changing tactics if needs be.

If they lose, I wouldn't say it's the end of their season. They're more than capable of beating Clare and Waterford, which could very well be enough to get 3rd place. Limerick won the All-Ireland from finishing 3rd last year.
There isn't a huge amount between these teams on any given day.

capacity is 42 thousand it may not be full but will be there or there abouts i reckon. limerick could have close to 25,000 supporters there on sunday some atmosphere....if cork don't start well with the huge limerick support there they could be in for a tough day.

Limericks first game as defending All Ireland Champions in there home ground...

Cork badly needing a win to keep there C'ship hopes alive..

Two of the best supported hurling counties in the country..

Soccer season over... Rugby season over

There really is no reason why this game shouldn't be a sell out!! And if its not it really just shows again how bad a job the GAA do of hyping these type of games up...

agreed the gaa are very poor at marketing their games....limerick and cork provided probably 2 of the best games of last yrs championship both ended in draws on going to extra time and hardly a mention of sundays match

I thought the capacity was 49,000+. Has this been reduced due to developments, H&S etc.?

And most importantly the Fenway Cup champs!

@kurt
