And if you look up the minor football roll of honor you'll see that it's a legitimate 5 in a row , the first ever in men's football."
Since we're being accurate, U17s aren't men, so it's not a 5 in a row in men's football. ;)

Considering you basically get a bye into All Ireland 1/4 Finals now Super 8's.

Im sure alot more counties would have similar records if they had that luxury (Tyrone, Monaghan, Donegal 2 examples)

Put kerry into leinster instead of Dublin or into connacht instead of Mayo and we would have similiar success, easy to pick ulster counties as you have done. Two all irelands in 10 years and probably lucky to get 2 from our performances in the last few years is still not great but better then rest outside of the dubs.

That might be why they haven't followed up any of the wins with an U20/21 title. Better to pick kids for minor who have a bit of growing to do.

Not a hope they'd have similar records. Kerry have simply been better than the above for most of the past decade with the exception of Donegal for a brief period.

Mayo were a better team than Kerry over that time and had a similarly easy path to the QF's as Connacht has been dreadful in the recent past and they can't match Kerry's record either. How do you explain that?

We would have won last years U20s if we had Clifford or seanie Shea but our senior team needed them.

We'll put an asterisk beside Kildare's title so. Let me know if there are any other titles you want to claim. We'll update the record books.

If we don't we Sam can we say we would of won it if Donegal Boston didn't need Diarmuid Connolly?

Kildare won their title fair and square. Missing O'Shea and Clifford had a big bearing on Kerry's U20 team last year though I think it is fair to say. They'll be missing Clifford again this year as he is still underage, and probably Diarmuid O'Connor too.

The only other successful minor team to have a crack at an U20 / 21 title was in 2017 when they lost the semi to Galway.

People love to run Kerry down and make out like all of these minor teams have failed to kick on when in fact they have only had two attempts at titles beyond minor, and one of them severely weakened with the loss of two transcendent underage talents.

No you can't say that clon ad ye won the allireland without Connolly last year.

You could say it about Paul Flynn though.
