They have no interest in Leinster whatsoever. It's only themselves they care about and they expect us to buy their BS. Highly condescending to Leinster GAA people It's just another way to vent to their own frustrations at not winning and instead of coming out with it they use Leinster as a means to bellyache and apply their own fears to another and look as if they aren't talking about themselves to save face. Completely ignoring their own massive advantage playing and practically dominating a hurling province for 125 odd years.. an almost guaranteed semifinal for over 100 years playing 2 or 3 games against hurling counties to get there ! As you said you couldn't make it up... And they have the brazen neck to expect people to buy it... probably so use at this stage to their dishonest yerra nonsense that they probably don't realise it anymore and end up trying to believe their own waffle. That rubbish use to serve them well.. not anymore. You have to be smart to be a good spoofer. Hence their problem. jimbodub (Dublin) - Posts: 20600 - 23/06/2018 10:19:33 2113853 Link 2 |
Regardless of whoever, this really shouldn't be allowed happen, its not in interest of Gaelic games might have been Waterford last night but countless other examples across all the grades and in other counties, its the Waterford lads and football there i feel for this morning i feel for. Its shocking really. You cant handicap teams who are good, but does nothing to develop these counties or grow the game. TheUsername (Dublin) - Posts: 4445 - 23/06/2018 10:37:43 2113855 Link 2 |

Well that's the end of the Munster posters commenting on here. They will be busy running their own similar thread! kildare73 (Kildare) - Posts: 854 - 23/06/2018 22:16:11 2114041 Link 4 |
Joking aside since when have the rossies become a proper team ? define a proper team? superbluedub (Dublin) - Posts: 2837 - 23/06/2018 22:42:56 2114052 Link 1 |
Unfortunately it will be after tomorrow. Really allows one team to time their preparations to peak for July/August as even their second team would probably win it out as well. In terms of winning this years All Ireland, barring a discipline meltdown which is possible, Dublin will coast it. Kerry & Galway may have the forwards but both are very poor at the back. I cant remember a poorer Championship in years, some of the games are dire to watch. Perhaps the title of the thread could be changed to "is Gaelic football dead & buried". Uimhir.a.3. Ha? What you on about? We bate Cork tonight cork were brutal due to an inept management team, Cork have won lots of U21s over the 10 years , they have the footballers but they need a manager with a tactical brain.

This would be the same Leitrim who lost to Laois and Carlow in the league this year, yes?

Hope Laois can put up some sort of fight but a half baked Dub team these days could win Leinster pulling up. After yesterday big concern now for Munster football in terms of competitiveness. I know Kerry are really good 2nd favs for Sam by some distance etc but really disappointed with Cork. And the 8 point defeat of Tipp not helping. I appreciate some Mayo posters are saying it was a lot closer and all that but 8 points is 8 points in any man's language. The nineties spoilt us as how did we suffer same o same o in the seventies with all due respects to the few great teams who dominated. kiloughter (Galway) - Posts: 1946 - 24/06/2018 08:49:35 2114107 Link 0 |
I'm on about Kerry's biggest championship win over Cork since 1938. The game was over long before half time!! It's getting easier and easier for Kerry in Munster and we've had to listen to a over the last while on here about how uncompetitive Leinster is but we have what's proven to be the best team in the country to compete with. The rest of the teams in Munster haven't even got that excuse and Kerry are still walking it. I would take more seriously what you said about Cork's underage teams but Kerry have won a nice few Minors in that time too and your lads are coming thru but theirs dont appear to be.Not nice when the mirror is held up, is it?!

Six points between the teams at halftime and with all due respect to Laois, I'd expect it to be double that by the end. Dublin will blitz them in the final quarter. festinog (Galway) - Posts: 3097 - 24/06/2018 17:01:58 2114241 Link 0 |
Best provincial final so far, but Dublin will probably we handy by the end of it

I couldn't disagree more. Totally one-sided. That said, none of the P-finals will go down as classics. The bigball is very much playing second fiddle to the smallball this year and the Super 8s will only serve to cover it up by squeezing in as many games as possible with the top teams in the hope that one of them will deliver the goods.

Haha come on. Dublin could've been 10 up after 5 mins. Started 3/13 for scoring chances and still 18 points up now.

Most certainly. Leinster has gone from being the flagship province to being a competitive desert. Greengrass (Louth) - Posts: 6031 - 24/06/2018 17:48:30 2114267 Link 1 |
