Not the prettiest of victories on Sunday but we expected as much. Coming out with a win was the main objective and we have plenty of improve on.
Yes we should get over Sligo, but as seen in the connacht final last year, Galway have been complacent before. They need to approach the game with the same mindset and professionalism. Sligo have some talented forwards who can hurt any of our backs who are going through motions.
Burke needs to line out at 13 from minute one, with Army being used as an impact. Time has come now to start shaping the strongest 15 possible. Would like to see Daly involved also, another forward who can change a game with one play.
Hoping for a good turn out in salthill and continue to get behind our Lads. Expecting another statement of intent. Galway by 6/7
