Replying To royaldunne:  "Meath to win obc div 2 Leinster and all ire. Same as every year those are my hopes.
Realistically blood the huge new players coming in in the obc (panel of 41) see can we find some gems. Promotion has to be the ultimate goal, we have thrown it away too many times in the recent past.
Leinster? Get over Longford and face Dublin ( everyone knows that Meath only team in Leinster that can actually give them a challenge) and not be clapping ourselves on the back for getting hammered by 9 points.
I'll take anything after that. Should we win it would be great to get one over westmeath in Leinster final. :)"
You must mean everyone in Meath knows it......and even that's a stretch! If 9 points is a hammering, what's 15? And for it to happen twice?:) If you can't put up a challenge to the team who got beaten by nine how are you going to challenge Dublin?? Ahhh the comedy season has started:).

No point trying any logic with this lad. He probably sees Meath challenging Dublin when all these lads from Meath minors come through. According to him they were the best minor team in Ireland only last year.

I'll leave you with this thought. Last time Kildare won a all ire we weren't even a republic. And wt Cosgrave was leader of country.

True......but we don't count the con jobs unlike others. I'll leave you with that thought.

A word of advice to my fellow Kildare posters :
'Never argue with an idiot. They'll drag you down to their level and beat you with experience.'

That Mayo don't need a 30 metre free in injury time to win Sam

Not as long as it will take Kildare to win anything.

Big talk from a county spinning their wheels in the second tier. Always looking backwards, never forwards.

Don't worry Kildare won't be that long out of second tier. Remember last time you were in div 1 with sj before he went home to where he always lived. Soon ended up in Division 3

Honestly, though lads, please ignore him. He hasn't a notion whats going on in Meath and he gives the rest of us genuine Meath people a bad name.

Kildare are the only team in Leinster at the moment who will challenge Dublin and they have a lot of very exciting players. They need to find some belief from somewhere though.

Meath have fallen a long long way and are in a bad place. Our best players have left the panel and those on it aren't even turning up for training or challenge matches in sufficient numbers.

For all your talking you never managed to answer a single question I asked you in my original post. Are Cork's All Irelands devalued because two Kildare men were in the spine of their team? You never mention that either. Your lads are no strangers to Div 3 and you are closer to it again than we are!! Can barely see you in our dust now:)

Agree Crinigan but I would add that he makes the genuine Meath poster stand out even more.

You've sent him off googling or consulting the GAA book he got from Santa.
Best to take KildareKelly's advice.

He doesn't speak for the majority of Meath posters, everyone knows that and to be honest I'd like to see Meath come back again because Leinster needs them along with ourselves, Laois , Westmeath and whoever else to bring up the standard outside Dublin. Competition within the province is far too low and whoever plays Dublin is nowhere near sharp enough in a Leinster Final. Anyway go again in 2018:)
