Lads Barrett is a great hurler, that's not in question,he's a disruptive individual he's a nasty piece of work off the field, and tbh,I'd rather Mick Ryan stuck by his guns and left him
In holycross.hes a bad one ,trust me

Was only told in the last hour why he is not on panel anymore. Mick Ryan 100% right.

His won all Ireland corner back minor in 07. Played intermediate corner back as well. I guess we need to see more of him I didn't think he would actually get a run being only called up to panel less than 6 weeks ago. We are short at the back and that could be our Achilles heel to retain our crown.
While we're not being fantastic having something to work on is great.

Yeah it's a sad case when you look at it his genuinely the best defender in the game and could have had a stirring career.

Without going into the specifics of it. Was he being disruptive to other members if the panel?

If his behaviour was unacceptable then Ryan was right to get rid of him. Nobody is bigger than the jersey. That includes Callanan, McGraths, Bubbles, Mahers etc.

The big positive from Saturday was how sharp the forwards looked. Basically from 5 - 15 we still have an all Ireland winning team who played like that on Saturday. 1 - 4 would give you sleepless nights from here until the Galway game.

No not to the panel from what I'm aware. I agree with same back 4 is where we are going to at risk but I think they can tighten up.
