Yeah your right - lets concentrate on All Ireland's.....so its still Galway then that are the last and will be the next ones to bring Sam west . Cheers for reminding me.

Galway is already split in two.north and west have practically no serious hurling.south galway has practically no serious football.

great idea. With a combined famine of nearly 45 years I'd love to see this happen. I'd have to leave the country if ye won the hurling anyway

Tipp average an AI once every 10 years - hardly in a position to gloat over a dual county.

Hardly gloating - did ,y attempt at humour hit a nerve?! Average an All Ireland every 4.7 years for your information compared to Galway's average of 32 years in the hurling, but ya I'd still love to see ye split into 4!

I like your idea of adding the amount of years since a county won the football to the amount of years a county has won the hurling to create a combined amount of years that looks really bad.

Shall we try it with your county next?

Not at all - sure we're think skinned ever since the Tony Keady incident!

It means more after 32 years!

Galway will have to be at their best against Roscommon

It's not so long ago that the same Galway side were dismantled by a Tipp team missing the spine of their team.

Galway have only lost once (robbed by a late goal Vs Meath in the league) since....

Yep, give it a go there! Then go look for a thread that says Tipp should be split in 4 :)

Galway haven't played a knock out championship match since Tipp hammered them. They won't play one until after the Rossie match either way.
Knockout games are what you're judged on.
All the rest is just shadow boxing

Are you for real? League is a far better indication of a progress of a team over a given period of time, it removed outliers which I believe the Tipp game last year was (no offence to Tipp I believe you deserved to win the game, but Galway I believe took the game for granted, got tactics wrong and also training wrong as players were out on their feet in that game - so apologies to all Tipp fans, I truely mean no offence)

We beat ye because we had better players last year, plain and simple. Galway didn't take that game for granted. Ye weren't good enough on the day. League is an indication of how fit and well prepared a team is early in the year as Wexford hurlers proved. the best teams come to the top in the cship. Galway hurlers being the prime example.

Tipp were lucky to get the one point win last year, the 2 mins of extra time left Galway in a frantic panic to get the equalizer. officials gave all other big games 5 to 7+ minutes in both codes, not blaming Tipp for it obviously.

Whoever came up with this thread should be cut in 8 using a medieval torture device in a dungeon.

F*ck sakes, we beat ye fair and square in 2016 just like ye did in 2015. In 2015 we put our hand up and said the best team won.

I thought that Galway was already split in three - one part of the county playing rugby; a second part playing hurling and a third part playing football.
