Fermanagh hurler Ciaran Corrigan has expressed his frustration at the lack of competition for his club Lisbellaw within the county.
Lisbellaw have been the only adult hurling club in the Erne County since Lisnaskea Emmets folded in 2015, while there has been no county championship since 2013, meaning St Patrick's go into the Ulster club championship every year without any competitive games under their belt.
However, hopes are high that the situation will soon change after 150 U11 and U13 hurlers took part in a blitz at Brewster Park on Monday night.
TweetPlayed my 7th year in Club Champ hurling this year & unfortunately still no other opposition in Ferm. Makes it so hard to compete at Ulster Level which is so frustrating, 1 match of note a year only whets the appetite! Heres hoping for continued support & a sign of things to come https://t.co/Nu6fcdBbtY
